Installation

If you are ready to change the look of your home and make it a healthier environment for you and your family, then it is time to replace your carpet with hardwood flooring.  There is an endless amount of wood variety, stain colors and finish options to choose from.  Carpet removal and disposal is available for a fee.

Refinishing

One of the most dramatic improvements you can make to the interior of your home is to refinish your wood floors!  If the floors finish is worn or damaged with major wear, deep scratches, pet stains or damaged boards then it is time for a refinish.  During this process the floor is sanded to raw wood which allows you to choose a stain color that  matches your décor style.  Any board damage or stains can be replaced with new ones during this process.   At this point, it is often a good idea to replace any damaged base and or repaint any existing.

Recoating

Under certain circumstances, it is possible to add a new coat of finish to renew the shine and luster of your floors original look.  Often, a homeowner will have this process done before placing their home on the market-a great way to show potential buyers how well your home has been taken care of.  It’s suggested that you apply an additional coat of finish every 3-5 years as needed. The Sound Hardwood Solution team can finish the process within a day, usually requiring a night out of the home.

Reinstallation

Unfortunately, accidents happen. In the event of water or fire damage that is too severe, your floors may need to be torn up and replaced with new wood. This process would involve carefully removing the old hardwood as to not damage the subfloor and installing new wood once the subfloor has dried and the new wood has had ample time to acclimate.
